The BeeZeta1 Nano is the ball the sport is actually played with. It sits in the FAI Sporting Code’s F9A-B nano class – under 250 grams, wrapped in a carbon-fibre exoskeleton that takes the contact so the airframe inside does not. Everything that matters is made here. The frame is Indian carbon fibre. The cage is printed, processed and painted in India. The flight controller is an F7-based all-in-one board of our own design. That is what makes the difference on a spare part: when a pentagon cracks two days before a tournament, it comes off our own line rather than a shipping container.
Built for a hall, not a field. There is no camera on board and there never will be – it is a ball, not a drone that watches anything. Six to seven minutes of play per 1000 mAh 3S pack – which, in an unstabilised competition drone, is longer than most matches need.
